I got a 85" Sony X900h. They recently pushed several apps that I want to remove, that I will never use. Apple TV, etc. What's the best and easiest way of rooting it to remove these apps?

Try to disable them via adb. You probably can't root it
No need to root. Your should be able to uninstall via adb unless I'm mistaken.
You don't need to root to uninstall apps.
Hmmm.. Even if there was a way to root, would you risk your beloved 85" sony?? If you say yes then hats off brave man!
