Sony Bravia plays movie trailers instead of digital tv

When I turn on my tv it automatically starts playing random movie trailers with the volume on, rather than digital television.

Further, when I use the menu or remote to select television, it also plays movie trailers.

I've disabled Google Movies, and now the trailers don't play but I still can't watch digital television.

I've rescanned for digital tv channels and it comes up with 60, but when I select digital tv I just get a blank screen saying there is no input.

This is extremely frustrating and I'd be grateful for some advice.

Go in to Settings, Channels, Google Movies And TV. Disable the only "channel" for that source.

Is it possible you have select "retail mode" instead of the other option?

Try a factory reset.

I had random little issues and slowdowns and then Google Home controls stopped working too.

Did a factory reset yesterday and it's less bogged-down and fixed all my issues.
