Hello, i own a 2019 Phillips Android TV and an Harman Kardon soundbar that is connected with my TV through HDMI arc. I have everything set up so that the soundbar turn's on together with my TV. However this feature only works when im i'm using a different HDMI input (for example my PS4) as the TV starts. If the TV starts to the standard android TV homescreen, the soundbar doesn't start. Which is a shame, since i use the android tv interface 90% of the time, instead of a 3rd party HDMI input (PS4). Is there any way to fix this?
I own a Sony Android tv and an old Sony home theater (Blu-ray player with 5.1 speakers) connected by hdmi with arc. I use my tv remote to control both, and speakers wake up and sleep as I turn on and off my tv. Your soundbar shall wake up with your tv no matter what source you will use.
