I have this device already. It was available on Kickstarter earlier this year. You do need to live in a atsc 3.0 market area to take advantage of the new features. Only a few places in the U.S have switched over.

$199 and it ships October 31st.

I own a few 2nd Gen nVidia Shields, which handle 4K video just fine. Past media players I owned also did 1080p just fine, but choked when it met my Hdhomerun Prime (cable card). Hoping that 4K transport streams dont choke my shield, but I wont know until they start broadcasting 4K in my area.

Is there a way to see if there are any ATSC 3.0 broadcasts is a specific area?

When the heck is Sony x900h going to enable ATSC 3.0!

ExMachina_Disco_Club

Have the networks made any timeline estimates for when they'll start broadcasting 4k content? Mainly interested in sports. I don't need Dateline in 4K.

Can you this outside the US? Will it work?

Anybody knows if this device is / will be compatible with Plex / Emby / Jellyfin?

TeutonJon78

I hope they make a cheaper 2 tuner option. I dont really need 4 tuners for OTA. I don't even need 2.

I can't imagine that there is any broadcast tv worth capturing in 4k
