Just purchases a new Chromecast w/ Google TV and have been really loving it! The only issue I've noticed thus far is framerate issues when trying to stream sports at 720p via YoutubeTV. Anyone else experiencing this issue?

Yes! I also have match content turned off. I tried different resolutions, etc. It all looks like a cheap stream found on reddit.
Today I was flipping HDMI sources on the tv between Youtube TV on this and my Roku Stick +, and it is night and day the difference. Sports are unwatchable on this. My wife who barely cares about quality said 'What's wrong with the picture?'
I even compared the nerd stats page of the YTTV app on both, and both were all the same. Whatever is going on, this makes me want to return this immediately!
No Issues like that for me, I've pretty much watched sports at least 20 of the last 48 hours, and while my internet is not the best the streams are smooth even when the speed gets low. I don't really know what you can do. Maybe toggle the display settings to something else and then back again. Change HDMI ports. Have you Tried the ESPN or Fox Sports apps to see if you get any different results.
Nope...are you using the "match content" feature? I can't remember what it's called exactly but it's in settings. Seems to help most people with quality issues.
