So I updated my Philips ambilght TV (50pus7334) from the Android TV home to Google TV home All went well but it seems to takes a lot longer than the android home to fully load up, ive also noticed that FTA (uk) catch up apps such as Itv Hub and All 4 won't open when I've got the Google launcher active, they just hang on a black screen. Anyone else having this problem? I've resorted back to the Android launcher because it works.
using a VPN app or setup ?
we also experienced similar issue with ' google play games ' after updating to ' google TV UI .'
as ugly as it may actually sound, we sorted while browsing to SETTINGS > APPS > ALL APPS > ' google play games ' and then ' cleared all data. ' everything works now when launching the app in settings .
