Did you launch the video directly from the homescreen suggestions? This bug happened to me too

The search is improved a little, it doesn't scroll the same 8 results forever anymore.
Redirecting from home screen suggestions of YouTube has been sh*t from long back. For me a particular video from history shows up, no matter whatever video I click.
I have never experienced that before. That's not good at all. I get what seems like the correct video for each link.
Yesterday mine didn’t want to play any video. Had to use the PS4 to watch it.

download the YouTube for smart tv apk it’s really good and removes ads but you can turn that option off if you want to support creators
