Just got the new Chromecast with Google TV. I added my Google account as well as my spouse's account. In the upper right corner, I see where both accounts are listed in the drop-down, but when I select the other account, it only gives me the option of removing the second account. Anyone know how to switch accounts? Thanks in advance.
Is it recommended to just create a new Google account for this Google tv?
This is so frustrating, and the reason I won't be using by Google TV as my primary streaming device until it's resolved.
We have unique accounts for my wife, my son and myself. This allows us to save our own shows and viewing behavior in YouTube TV. Not being able to switch accounts is a huge barrier to entry for us.

I’m glad I’m not the only one that was confused by that. Hopefully they’ll develop that further over time. I’d also love to see the ability to switch to a child or family account, allowing it to filter the recommendations by rating, or something along those lines. The thing has only been out a day, though. I’m happy with the starting point.
I have the same issue. I don't think this support multi-user like we expected. I have 3 accounts on mine and when I launch a Google-owned app (like YouTube) it asks me to select which account to use the very first time, but the homepage UX can't switch from one account to another.
