People really think google are releasing new hardware with what seems like an amazing and semi unique interface and just have it possible to side load onto any android tv day 1. Lol. They want to sell the chromecast.
Come on.
This is going to be way more complex then sideloading apks.
Guide to extract APK
sideload APK Extractor ( https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/meher/apk-extractor/ ) to your chromecast with google TV
Then can use AppManager/APK Extractor to find the application named as "com.google.android.apps.tv.launcherx" then you can get the APK file and upload to Google drive and share here~
I don't think it would be possible but it's android, so it might be, just need someone smarter.
On a side note, I was assuming that people on this sub hated firetv just because of a similar UI (though even FireOS has updated it's UI few days back). Good to see that it's not the general consensus and I was incorrect to assume so.

Google TV is nothing but a new UI for Android TV and in two years time all Android TV devices will have Google TV UI.

Omg the understanding pf this so called "chromecasr with google tv"is so wrong for some people, The recent hardware is not only a UI, its a hardware device like apple tv 4k/firetv4k which also supports dolby vision/hdr codecs, before that the simple chromecast never able to support these high end codecs, comeon guys, foe this current hardware they jave used this UI which can be also made available for all android devices i mean TV's.
If someone can extract the APK, I can try and test it out!
