Chromecast died on me. What Andeoid TV box/stick should I get?

by LemonWAG1

Today my Chromecast died on me and after looking on the internet for 2h I'm convinced to buy a Android TV Box/Stick.

The only problem I have at the moment is that there are too many to choose from.

I live in Europe and am currently looking at the Xiaomi Mi Box S. I briefly went through the subreddit of the Mi Box and I saw a lot of complaints about the firmware. So i'm not sure if I should get it.

Can someone recommend a good box? Max €100,00. Will be using it for Netflix/Twitch/Spotify and if possible (like the Xiaomi) casting.

EDIT: i'll wait for the new Chromecast! Thanks everyone

Google is expected to announce a new android TV dongle on Sept 30. I would consider that device. Otherwise, the shield pro is highly recommended.

Edit: the shield pro is out of your price range.

Just buy the new Chromecast Sabrina or the Mi TV Stick and you'll be good.

There is no perfect box. In europe its either Mi box, or unknown chinese brands like mecool. Google should release a new device soon quite possibly better than mi box for similar price. Should arrive within a month. Mi box is not that bad, there are always users with bugs and problems, but for me it was nothing but good. My old mi box 3 been going for almost 4 years now,and it still does anything i need in my bedroom with 1080p tv. For 4k content shield is so much better, and its the best adroid tv device overall. You can have basic model for 150eu.
