Showing slideshow while keeping sound

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if its possible to show a presentation, slideshow or just a picture (maybe a screensaver?) while still keeping the sound of the television. I want to be able to have radio playing through the television while showing pictures. (it's a Philips television: model 49PUS6401/12)

I am not sure which Android Version your TV is on, but many music players support background playback now on Android 9. For example, you can play/cast music on Spotify and exit to Home and start your screensaver. I think this method should help achieve what you are looking for.
