also you can't deactivate autogenerated subs once in a live stream, you have to go to a regular video, deactivate cc and go back to live :facepalm
I suggest you use SmartYouTubeTV . give it a try and you will not regret.
The other solution would be to get an older version of youtube apk and prevent update!
