Xiaomi Mi Stick pre purchase doubts

by TradeMark16

Hello everyone. Hope this Q is not much of a bother.. I'm seriously interested in buying this device, BUT, I really need it to work with all those IPTV services going round..

Does anyone use it for this? Does it work fine? What apps can I use with it?

TIA!

Edit: This is my first array at IPTV, and I really don't know much about it.

Don't buy this stick.

Don't buy it, several users have posted some complains about it, specially for the low RAM it has (1GB), I recommend to take a look at this list:

Certified Android TV devices WITH Netflix AND Prime Video certifications:

- Chromecast with Google TV (To Be Announced)

- AirTV Mini

- Ematic Jetstream

- Tivo Stream 4K

- Verizon Stream TV

Certified Android TV devices with ONLY Netflix certification:

- AT&T TV

- JBL Link Bar

Certified Android TV devices with ONLY Prime Video certification:

- Mecool KM1 (Available at mecoolonline.com )

- Mecool KM3 (Available at mecoolonline.com , where you can also download the NEW Android 10 firmware for this model)

- Mecool KM9 PRO (Available at mecoolonline.com , where you can also download the NEW Android 10 firmware for this model)

Certified Android TV devices WITHOUT Netflix AND Prime Video certifications:

- Channel Master Stream Plus (with ATSC dual tuner built-in but outdated Android TV version)

- Minix Neo T5 (With gigabit ethernet but remote control doesn't have a microphone)

For more info about all certified Android TV devices, head over to Android TV Guide website.

Argentinian here. Been using a Mi Stick for a few days.

Doesn't seem so bad, it is not as fast as the mibox s but good enough for YouTube, Netflix and Prime (the subs lag like in a lot of devices).

What apps do you want to use?

Have been using it for a month, it is nice stick but it is even slower than my decades old roku 3. It also needs several restarts per day. Apart from slowness it works well and it is missing bbc iplayer and apple plus
