I’d personally always buy a dumb TV, which will be great for ten years or so, and a smart box, which you can upgrade every few years when you need to without spending ten times the price on a TV.

You might want to wait a week and see what Google’s new dongle is - could be that it’ll offer everything you want.

I have TCL 50inch EP68 and its performing better than my old mi box.

Just get a high quality led panel/monitor and TV box or a mini pc for operating, it would probably cost little more but will be way more useful in the long run.

Bought android tvs and smart tvs really disappointed in all of them limited features, very low processing power, horrible ui, feels like using 7 years old Android phones today.

I have the 40 inch version for around $300 and I can pretty much say that the value is quite astonishing.

Buying a dumb TV is the better choice but buying the TCL 32S6800 is not a bad deal either, considering that is it upgradeable to pie and may get another future update. You can't go wrong in either choices.
