So I was wondering if there's any restriction with Android TV OS regarding Aspect Ratio Control. For example, Many movies and series have black bars on Netflix/ Prime video and some users would want to zoom or stretch it to fill the screen. The Android TV I have disables that feature in TV and works only for HDMI inputs. Can anyone confirm if it works for them in any Android TV.
Streaming services will NEVER allow users to modify the original aspect ratio of videos inside their apps, that's something users can only do inside the TV's screen settings, though not all TVs allow to do that when using internal apps.
