Hi, I just got a new Xiaomi mi box. I opened a movie on a website on my Mac book air in Chrome and Chromecasted it to my box but there is a sync issue. The video delays while the audio is in sync. What I’m I doing wrong and how can I watch videos on sites other than netflix etc. ? Thanks a lot.

your mirroring a chrome tab you should click cast in the youtube video your watching then it wont lag and why are you using chomecast its an android tv box android tv is better to use
I assume you are casting a chrome tab thus the delay, what you should use is a media server like Plex or Emby, then you can stream the video directly to the Mi Box using the native Android TV apps, cast the video directly from the server to the Mi Box without lag using your Mac or use the Android/iOS apps to also cast from the server.
You can also use Kodi, VLC, Nova Video Player among others to stream videos using Samba, no server installation needed.
