Yo, I just recorded something on my Phillips Android TV TV onto my USB HDD.
Interestingly, it was recorded in some strange format and can only be played in the Recordings menu of my TV, not on a normal computer.

This is one of these recordings. Note: VLC can't open pvr files.
That's by design to stop piracy if its like my Bravia just change the .bin to .ts or .mp4 and it should play
