I’m currently using firestick to view my premium channels like showtime and starz through sling app. I’m able to get the TV guide with current movies playing and was wondering if there are android tv devices that integrate the live tv guide instead of having to open app.
Nope that just clutters up the home screen like Fire TV, Hope it never happends unless it can be turned off. Even with Fire TV it takes more clicks to get to the guide than it would be if it were an app. Tivo Stream 4K is doing someting like it but they use an app. It's not built into the home screen. There is supposedly a new version of Android TV coming that may have something like that.
What Sling needs is "Live Channels" app integration which is available in any Android TV device, you should contact Sling and ask for that.
