Mi box all the way, if you can shell out a bit more go for the nvidia shield
All the problems I'm seeing people having with mibox-s i say get older mibox 3.. same thing and works perfectly for me.
Else test your luck when my box S.
Mi box s. Great for plex and decides h265 too.
If you want bugs for years (just a quick search on reddit) go for the mibox. Otherwise if you are like me, want a stable product, put your trust in Amazon.
Be aware...
High bitrate 4K HDR Bluray Rips / Remux’s needs either Gigabit LAN or a direct connect Hard Drive for home network streaming reliability.
That means for a Mi Box you need something like a Ugreen USB3 > GigaE LAN adapter.
Chromecasting needs a device running Google Certified Android TV. So that excludes the 4K Stick.
Basically do you want to have Google or Amazon store on your device? In terms of abilities for the apps you mentioned, it is pretty much the same thing otherwise.
