I have Fire TV stick and there's a weather channel app that allows for live streaming but I don't see it in the Play Store on my Shield TV. Am I missing something or do I need to sideload the .apk that's available on the Amazon store?

All amazon TV devices use the amazon app store.
Yeah it's not available for Android TV not sure if sideload works or not
