MiBoxes don't have names on my AP, any way to set them up? They already have one set in device name, on the About menu

If you are using DHCP to give out IP addresses, you should be able to make a DHCP reservation for the devices, and give them a "name" (Hostname) there.

I also go to the "About" page in the MiBox and give my MiBoxes unique device names here as well, which is usually the same as the Hostname I use in my DHCP reservation page on my router.

Not sure if you will be able to do this from the router's smarthone app, I usually use a PC or a large Tablet's browser to make changes, because I want/need a larger keyboard when it comes to typing stuff into fields when configuring my router(s).

To recap, try giving the MiBox(es) names (Hostnames) using the DHCP reservation page(s) on your router.

Hope this made sense and was helpful.

Good luck!

Your AP is likely missing poop OUI entries for the Mac Addy's Mi uses by the looks of it, and or the mi isn't sending out a hostname.
