Hi all! I was wondering if it was possible to record live TV on an android box by plugging my Freeview into a USB adapter. If so, how would I go about this: what adapter could I use and would I be able to use Google's Live TV app? Thanks for your help!
I currently use a HDHR to watch Freeview through the live channels app. You can't record though not unless you pay for it on the HDHR app as that also unlocks recording on the live channels app.
HDHR for purely watching tv has been the best experience for me so far as I can pause TV for free and the guide has icons for every channel and if I use a Bluetooth remote with numbers I can even navigate it like a standard STB and input numbers like 101.
If you do end up using a HDHR don't use the network tuner option as it shows weak signal on most channels, you can only use the HDHR input that you get when you download the HDHR app.
What TV standard is the Freeview using?
