I record a show, go to watch it the next day, and when I go to skip the commercials, it will say "action not available" and I am forced to watch the commercials. This is a DVR recording, not watching it live or anything. This only happens on my Nvidia Shield and not on the web version or the mobile app. Anyone else see this?
I’m having the same problem as well. I’ve had it for over a week. It’s those additional commercials that they’ve added in. If you watch the time process bar at the bottom of the screen (usually in orange) it shows little white tick marks sometimes 1 or 2, sometimes several if you have a show that is an hour or more. That’s where those additional commercials have been added in. They are forcing you to watch them when you have a DVR’d show. It’s very infuriating. If it continues to be a nuisance, I’m dropping Sling and I’ve been with them since 2017.

Def. started with the recent update. Chatted with Sling, they had no idea, gave the usual logout/login, uninstall/reinstall answers. I see it on Outdoor Channel, Bravo, and Paramount recordings so far, probably many others.
I'm checking my Fire 4k to see if it does it there... but it has an annoying little audio delay that drives me bonkers, so I rarely watch Sling on it.
Yea mine seems to sometimes get stuck on those Sling inserted commercials. I had to close the app and come back in. I’m using a Sony android tv. I really noticed it on my DVR recordings of The Alienist from TNT recently.
