Hello everyone,
I am having an issue with my Mi Box S. Every time I turn it on (not just from shutdown/restart, bt sleep aswell), this stupid ‘Connected to Wi-Fi’ pop up notification appears on the home screen and it’s really annoying. I have looked for a solution online to no avail. Can anyone help??

I might have a solution, not sure but you can try: Go to settings; apps; google play services and then disable notifications. If it not works you can try to go to setting, apps, special acess to apps, notifications acess and then try to disable android tv core services. But the second method will disable the entire notifications on the homescreen i think.

Me too, I tought it was because of my usb hub and ethernet to usb. I'm using the wakelock app and keeping pocessor and wifi active but the notification still shows.

I'm pretty sure mine doesn't do it. I've never seen that notification.
Cant you disable it in the system settings?
I have the same problem on a the mi android TV. Wifi is disabled/turned off, and other et is connected. Yet the notification always appears.
Any help to fix this would be appreciated!

The recent update fixed this for me and I also did a reset haven't seen this in weeks
Same problem on Mi TV too. Happens when ethernet is connected (WiFi is switched off). I believe the Xiaomi testing team didn’t have a LAN cable to test.
What is your wifi hotspot 2.4ghz or 5ghz? It’s work more better with 5ghz.
