USB port query

My TV has two USB ports which are not enough for me. Can I use TP link 4 port usb hub in this situation?Will it affect or damage the TV if I insert it in one of the stock ports and connect multiple gadgets into the hub?

Also I've bought two good quality kinda expensive LED backlight strips for the TV. It uses usb port for power supply. Do such strips put load on the motherboard or is it harmful? Any advices are welcomed. Thanks.

It may or may not work but it won't hurt your tv

Any USB compliant device wont cause any harm to your TV. You can plug in a 4 port hub into it without risk to the TV.

You may find that you need a powered USB hub if you are using USB devices that draw a lot of power
