I'm having the same issue on my Shield
I downloaded it yesterday before the first game and it was working fine, then I left the app and haven’t been able to get it up and running since. We’ve tried just about everything. It’s just broken...
Is anyone running Pihole or have content filtering turned on?
If so, geo.nbcsports.com has to be whitelisted in order for the app to load.
turn off your PiHole and see if that helps

They're rolling everything into the peacock app, I think the nbc sports app is dead. I haven't been able to use it on any amazon device for months - same error.
I just cast stuff from my phone. Annoying but at least it works.
Andriod download livenet tv alot easier
In my case I watch PGA tour live. I will have to cast it to the tv from my phone as it seems there is no fix.
