Xiaomi Mi TV Stick bluetooth audio

I am looking for buying the new Mi TV Stick, and use an existing desktop screen with it.
Since this screen does not have speakers, I would like to connect to a nearby bluetooth speakers I already have.

I know the stick has bluetooth. The question is whether bluetooth audio output would work.

Does anyone know about it, or even tried it ?

You may also experience lag on the audio with Bluetooth

I just tried it with the nest mini and it's working fine. No noticeable lag.

Edit: there's lag when casting. From the TV app almost no lag. You cast something from your phone and there's like a 1 second lag. Turning on/off the headphones can fix it or waiting and it'll sync the audio by itself, eventually.
