There cheap so should be viewed in that light. If it does what you need now then go for it I have one in my man cave and it ticks as a simple 1080p Netflix box ghoug needs some sideloading love for apps like Amazon , but updates are buggy and will stop when Xiaomi bring out the next thing they 'new' thing. You can buy a firestick 4k. It's really fast and it's actually Android
It's pretty future proof, we got one of the earlier versions about 3 years ago and it receiveda system update 2 months ago. So they don't seem to be abandoning their older tech. I don't think there's anything comparable/better at that price point.
