It works for: USB-C power adaptor plugged into USB-C port closest to end will power unit, the other USB-C will not deliver power.
USB 3.0 ports work with wireless keyboard, hard drive, USB drives.
I cannot get the ethernet port to work. I have tried other ethernet adaptors and none work via USB-C.

The USB-C port is USB 2.0 so you won't get 1GB speed with an ethernet adaptor.
The Chromecast Ultra power/ethernet adaptor works to provide ethernet via the micro USB port but it is USB 2.0 not USB 3.0.
