Has the Smart YouTube TV app stopped playing videos for anyone else?

As of yesterday Smart YouTube TV will no longer play videos on either of my Shield TVs. I'm guessing YouTube changed something that doesn't allow videos to load if the ads don't load. Regular YouTube app works fine, though it seems that the amount of ads has increased quite a bit since I switched to Smart YouTube TV.

I mainly just wanted to confirm that it isn't just me experiencing this. Anyone else?

Edit: It was the stable build that stopped working for me. I downloaded beta build 6.17.702 and that seems to work just fine.

I was just using it on my Firestick 4k without any issues a few hours ago. Just tried it again to test for you and still had no issues.

It had a really bad update recently. I have to press back twice to get back to the homescreen, Sometimes menu options just don't appear. I can't go down to the suggested videos without the screen going black and then when I go back it just keeps playing the audio. I don't what happened, it used to work pretty good, but this last update I've seen nothing but bugs added.
