It's true!: HDR is working now with YouTube for Android TV

I couldn't believe it until I see it with my own eyes, HDR is really working with YouTube for Android TV on the Ematic Jetstream and my Samsung 4K TV!, I guess other devices like the Mi Box and Mecool devices are also supported.

One thing left to check though is if 5.1 audio is working with Android TV devices different than the Nvidia Shield (it has support since last year), when they are connected to an AV receiver with HDMI inputs and multichannel PCM support.

Can someone with a Mi Box or Jetstream verify if it's working?. Here is a video sample:

It is working on the native YouTube app on my android TV for some time. Philips 55oled804. Unfortunately surround sound isn't working yet

It has been working on my Mi Box from the day I have it IIRC? I've had it for 3 months now.

Just realized it's working on the older Mi Box. Been wanting hdr YouTube since I bought it 3 or 4 years ago. Funny thing is, I finally ordered a shield to replace it and it arrives tomorrow. Lol

Maybe one day, Nvidia will support it as well

I don't think YouTube support 5.1at all. I have 5.1 system and I have tried it with Xbox, smart TV, Chromecast, PC" Chrome, Firefox,edge".It doesn't work.
