I use a Sony TV with Android and have trouble finding VNC client apps that are compatible with Android TV. They don't appear in the launcher, so must be started manually by going to Settings - Apps, which is time-consuming. If you tab out of Android, Android TV goes back to the launcher next time. The local mouse cursor is huge and drawn on top of the remote cursor, big touchscreen controls obfuscate the screen, some VNC apps have no way of going back once you are connected. The list of trouble goes on. Did anyone find a VNC app that is compatible with Android TV, so at least it gets a launcher icon and can be used with local keyboard + mouse?
I remember using this to create Leanback shortcuts to side loaded apps but it doesn't seem to be on the Play store anymore, but you can still download it from GitHub and set that up with any VNC client.
