I've owned a Philips TV (65PUS8204/12) running AndroidTV for ~9 weeks. In the last couple of weeks, I noticed the picture was regularly freezing when watching the Netflix app. Sound was not disrupted, but the picture would freeze for about 1 second. Sometimes the picture would freeze for longer (~5 seconds) and the lip sync would go out.
I tried closing all other apps, but it didn't seem to make any improvement.
After running through the 'Reinstall TV' process, the problem seems to be gone.
Did you also face the app crashing and returning to home screen?
