Other than that, sure it'll work. It's a legit Android TV device.

Yes. You just need to make sure that you download the Peacock app from the Play store app in the TV and create account from there. As long as the new account is created from an Android device, you will get the promotion
I would wait till it comes out to see if there are any horror stories in this sub as to what it will work on. I signed up for a year for $29.99, BUT , no Roku support yet and assume my Channel Master Stream + is in the same boat.
