Seems to have fixed turning the TV off via Google Home for me!

Of course, I'm checking it almost every week as 2017/2018 models will get Android 9 update sometime this year

Not related to this update, but after installing manually this update https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google-inc/backdrop-daydream-android-tv/backdrop-daydream-android-tv-1-4-9-release/backdrop-daydream-android-tv-1-4-9-android-apk-download/ Chromecast built-in (backdrop) screensaver can now show Google photos too, instead of just some art. It also now shows weather like normal chromecasts, which was not visible to me before the update.

I can experience noticeable interface performance improvement. Navigation through the menus and apps is clearly more reactive.

Anybody notices that as well?
