How do these compare to the likes of the mecool km9 box.
I got to be honest I have the km9 and it's not very good.
Wifi is awful.. only getting around 8 or 9 mbps when a phone or my tablet can pick up at least 80mbps.
It cant playpack more advanced audio codec like Dolby.
If it's better I may wait for the stick version to replace it..
I love my Xiaomi S. It may not be the best but it does all I need, every once in awhile you need to reset. Make sure you use a dual band router, I get 30 MBPS download with NordVPN running.
I see you got the batteries that's cool, my friend's one is still stuck around singapore.

The product is the US version, from packaging and plug. Did you ask for the US variant, strange they sell the US version in there HK website. Which country are you located in.
Been using this box since late last year since my Android TV isn't certified by Netflix (bummer). Very pleased with my purchase. Had some issues in the beginning like random freeze every now and then, but a software patch a few months ago fixed most of the problems. Now it's just perfect for my need, and can be used to "upgrade" an otherwise "dumb" TV.
