There are ports of Half-life 2, Portal, Doom 3, and Tomb Raider for the Shield. If you haven't already played them on another platform, they are definitely worth playing.
Real racing is the best racing game on Android TV.
If you like old games, retroarch will let you play old games Snes, nes, os, game use, n64, dream cast, Sega etc..
Steamlink will also let you play steam games made for controllers playable on your android device. I am currently playing sleeping dogs, and retroarchs ps1 titles (Dino crisis, biohazard, parasite evil) via steamlink

If a Shield (anything but the 2019 non-Pro tube version), then Half-Life 2 and Portal 2 for sure. If you don't have the Tube version, you can play anything, but if you have the tube version, you can't play these games because they need 3GB RAM.
Leo's Fortune is fun too. Beach Buggy Racing..
