JBL link bar headphones pairing

by knicefire

Hey, Does anyone know if it's possible to pair a Bluetooth headphones to the jbl link bar so that one can watch Netflix without disturbing the rest of the family at late evening?

I haven't seen such option directly in the menu. It seems like the Bluetooth supports only controllers and audio sources.

But when pairing a phone a note at the bottom of the screen reads that in order to pair other accessories (and it lists headphones) you just need to press and hold the Bluetooth button.

I tried this option to pair my Marshall headphones and it didn't work out. The pairing process fails for some reasons. I tried paring my LG headsets but no luck with those either.

I tried to reach out to the support but it's been almost a week now and still no reply from them.

And I started to wonder if I need to buy a JBL headphones for it to work.

I have a pair of Logitech h800 headphones that are my work horse for conference calls, etc. I've paired them to so many different devices without fail...except for when I had the linkbar. Pairing failed every time. Sorry to say that the linkbar just sucks.

I have tried pairing multiple bluetooth headphones to the Link bar and there is no sound output. I don't think this device has this option - which is really frustrating because the ShieldTV allows this and adds so much to the experience.
