OnePlus is launching new TVs in midrange and budget segment. Isn't that against OnePlus's premium philosophy?

Well it isn't necessarily against their premium philosophy. They still manufactured top tier premium quality devices right from day one - with the oneplus one, and that was super affordable. This is just them acknowledging that in all these years having grown manifold as a company, they may have strayed away from their original sweet spot - providing top tier tech at affordable prices. You can notice this on the recent interview with their CEO Pete Lau as well - as he noted that they're keen to come back to the budget-but-premium phone segment. I see this as an extension to the same argument
