[Solved] When I play a movie that is showing that it has 5.1 audio on my Philips TV using the native Netflix app, the sound does not come out from my 5.1 Logitech system connected via an optical link. I can just listen to it on the TV speakers.
5.1 audio works when I listen to DTS or Dolby movies using Kodi, so it is not an issue with my set-up.
Anybody has an idea on how to solve this?
Edit: I had to change the TV settings: Sound > Advanced > Digital out format > Multichannel Previously it was set to "Multichannel (bypass)"
Anyone knows the meaning of the options in that menu and the differences between them?
