So I am using external speaker for my android TV but I cannot control the volume using the TV remote if I am in Android environment.
Volume control works fine in HDMI.
Any workaround?

Is the external speaker connected through your HDMI ARC port? And does your TV have a built in Android TV interface or are you using an external device (Shield, MiBox etc.)?
How is the external speaker connected? Going through a receiver, direct, ??
