I've checked the settings in both my YouTube app on Android TV, and the YouTube app on my phone. Both of the options are unchecked for "Restricted Mode".
Each time I select the "I wish to proceed" option in the YouTube app on the Shield TV, the next message I get is:"Sorry, something went wrong. This is an age restricted video." I get stuck in a loop, and it won't play the video.
If I use the YouTube app on my phone, to stream the same video via Cast to the Shield TV, it works just fine.
Seems like this is a bug with the YouTube app for Android TV devices. Has anyone recently started to have this happen to them?
Yes this is happening. Started a few days ago. My TV won't play any age restricted videos. After I click "I wish to proceed". Then I get the "something went wrong" and have the option of sending an error report..
