YouTube app is popping up "Viewer Discretion" message

I've checked the settings in both my YouTube app on Android TV, and the YouTube app on my phone. Both of the options are unchecked for "Restricted Mode".

Each time I select the "I wish to proceed" option in the YouTube app on the Shield TV, the next message I get is:"Sorry, something went wrong. This is an age restricted video." I get stuck in a loop, and it won't play the video.

If I use the YouTube app on my phone, to stream the same video via Cast to the Shield TV, it works just fine.

Seems like this is a bug with the YouTube app for Android TV devices. Has anyone recently started to have this happen to them?

Yes this is happening. Started a few days ago. My TV won't play any age restricted videos. After I click "I wish to proceed". Then I get the "something went wrong" and have the option of sending an error report..

Haven't seen this but I did get the new YT interface on their Android TV app, version 2.10.13, with those sleek/tiny left side navigation page icons(previously navigation was part left side part top side).

I haven't had any problem myself. Are you certain you are logged in and under the correct account? If you are not logged in they have to assume you could be underage.
