Black screen when I try to cast anything to Mi box S while watching a video

I'm having a really annoying bug in the mi box s. After playing a video for a few minutes, if I try to cast something from any app on my phone, I'll only see a black screen. If I don't disconnect the video quickly, the black screen will stay forever and I'll have to force reboot the mi box s. The audio is still there, but there's nothing I can do. Has anybody else hit this issue? I've tried disconnecting the HDMI cable from my tv, changing the input, but nothing works.

same here couldn't find a fix for that black screen after casting sometimes not everytime and the screen stay black even if i end the cast only the reboot make things go back as it use to be

No issues here. Try clearing the data of the Chromecast Built In app. You can do that in the settings by showing hidden apps

same problem happening to me. after latest update (2604) screen randomly goes black after casting. before update it was working flawlessly. tried everything including factory reset but the issue is still here
