Anyone know if there is a way to get the spectrum tv app on Android tv os?

I couldn't find a way. I just canceled Spectrum altogether and switched to YouTube TV.

Spectrum has been very stubborn about adding platforms for the Spectrum TV app.

I sideloaded Spectrum app on my Shield. But it was clunky to work with. Every time you went to menu it rotated to portrait view. Navigation was a pain, so I just went back to Live Channels.

I've tried side loading the Android phone app it won't work-best you can get right now is put it on your phone and cast to your Android TV
