TCL won't play Disney+ sound - 40s6800fs

I have the TCL 40S6800FS (Australian model)

It's a great unit, only issue is Disney+ only has the background sound when playing and no vocals/voices. I read it has to do with 5.1 sound and the TV is stereo or something.

Is there a fix to this or a update to the firmware? TCL have very little support online. Thanks

You mean "TCL have very little support".

I'd suggest you try running the Disney+ app on your phone and cast it to the TV.

I got the reply with a firmware link. Will try it over the weekend to see if it's a fix.

Success!! The firmware update has fixed the sound issues in Disney+
