Purchased a Philips 50PUS8204/12 TV. After changing screen to a device connect to HMDI i can no longer return to the home page.

Please help me with this one.

I switch over to my playstation to confirm that the HDMI ports where working. I think turned the playstation off and pressed home on the controller. The screen stays black. I am able to hold the home button down and get a side menu of apps installed however i want to return to the android app home screen.

How do i return to the android app home screen if not with the home button?

I have this TV...the home button for the android tv can be found under the down arrow of the D-pad. I had an issue with the tv switching inputs on my AVR but after doing a factor reset it's working fine. Try doing doing a factory reset
