Long story short Arial Dream gives me this flashing green screen problem if I use the screensaver long enough. So I took matters into my own hands and downloaded the apple TV videos myself in their full 4k hdr glory ( https://aerial-screensavers.netlify.app/ ). However Im having an issue finding a way to take those video files and play them on my shield. Is there an android tv screensaver that lets me point at local video files and play them in a randomized slideshow?
I've tried https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.furnaghan.android.photoscreensaver but it doesnt seem to want to play the video files I throw at it, 4k or 1080p
I use photoscreensaver as well. I downloaded the HDR files onto external SSD. I added the SSD as a source in photoscreensaver. However, photoscreensaver failed to play HDR files. I thought maybe screensaver doesn't play HDR files. So I downloaded non-HDR ones. And they worked beautifully. I don't know why. But I'm happy with non-HDR quality.
