Win10 Laptop -> HDMI -> TV. Where the audio come from?

Hi! Sorry for the fool question.

I'm waiting for a HDMI cable and I would like to know, when it will be here and functioning, where will I have to connect my bluetooth headphones to hear the audio, laptop or TV?

The HDMI cable transer audio as well. You should plug the sound output to the TV

I recommend to pair the headphones to your computer.

From the W10 notification area, you will have mutliple audio devices to choose from: 1. the built-in speakers; 2. your TV (over HDMI); 3. Your bluetooth headphones.

You can select the audio device you want to hear the sound on, right from the computer's notification area.
