Games for toddlers and preschoolers on Nvidia Shield

by beetstastelikedirt

Looking for things to put on the shield for my kid and I to play. She's almost 4 and I'd like to introduce her to using the controller. Some preschool learning type stuff would be nice as well as more hand-eye coordination and logic games. Open to all suggestions including emulators.

On same boat for my 3 year old.

Retroarch + some collection of classic games should help .

Currently my 3 year old likes Pepsi man PlayStation game , he is able to clear 1 stage which astonished me.. considering that he has had hard time controlling rc car in park prior. 2 sticks confuse him :D

I play the paw patrol game with my kiddo on my computer. It doesn't take a whole lot to run the game. I was running the game on max settings with a GTX 750 and she has a blast playing it. You can run the game with an igpu on lower settings.

Id check out some emulators too. The games that require 2 buttons and a d pad are the best games for a kid to practice hand-eye coordination with.

Any of the traditional scrolling mario games would be a good start or any of the Mario party games.
