I recently re-installed Android TV but now find I can't use the Keyboard. According to settings Gboard is the allocated keyboard but nothing happens. Any Ideas ?

Remove gboard updates / return your keyboard app to stock state by clearing app data
Use the Android TV remote app on your mobile device. I have the same issue with my mibox s and using the app actually works quite well when I need a keyboard
If you have a mouse dongle connected disconnect it
